Get to Know our Student Health Services!
Our dedicated team is located in the Health and iMPACT Centre, right beside the Library in suite 2S01. We have a strong, multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, counsellors, support staff, and a full-time Lead Clinician and Nurse Practioner.
Our goal is to provide you with comprehensive and holistic health care solutions. Whether you need medical attention, counselling services, or assistance with immunization clearances for placements, we've got you covered.

As a student at Loyalist College, you have access to a Health Plan and a Mental Wellness Student Support tool called Telus Health Student Support App. These resources are covered by your Student Ancillary Fees.
The Student Health Plan provides coverage for various health needs. Get all the details and information about the coverage here.
With the Telus Health Student Support Tool, you have 24/7 support for your mental wellness. To access this valuable tool, simply set up the app as described here. This service is confidential, available in multiple languages, and can be accessed through call or text. You can start using this support at the beginning of the semester.

Attention International Students!
Great news - while you're studying at Loyalist College, you'll automatically receive a 12-month health insurance plan. It's mandatory, so you don't have to worry about the hassle of finding coverage. All the details about this plan can be found here.
If you're planning on arriving before April 29, don't forget you're required to purchase the Pre-Arrival Guard.me Insurance. It's only $1.65 per day starting from your arrival date. Simply fill out the Loyalist College: Travel to Canada Web Form before you come to Canada, and we'll take care of arranging the pre-arrival insurance for you. The charges will be added directly to your Loyalist College student account.

A Social Insurance Number (SIN) is required before starting work in Canada. New International students should not begin working until the first day of classes.

Apply for OSAP: Ensure your documents are processed, received, and check your OSAP portal regularly. Approved funding is generally released around the start of classes.
Financial Aid Office Support: The Financial Aid office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays from 9 am to 4 pm. Schedule an appointment here for assistance with any questions.
Explore Awards and Bursaries: Students can apply for awards and bursaries in the Fall and Winter semesters through their MyLoyalist portal. For questions about awards please email our awards team at awards@loyalistcollege.com.
