Introduced a new service on campus in partnership with St. John’s Ambulance, Therapy Dogs, to provide students with an opportunity to de-stress during exams.
2014
Launched the Free Student Tax Clinic.
In partnership with the Loyalist College Accounting Students to assist Loyalist College Students and their families with filing taxes. Student Government distributed Tax Clinic envelopes to students at the beginning of the school year to contain important tax items required for filing their taxes.
2016
Opened a Student Money Management Centre.
In partnership with Loyalist College. Accounting Students to assist students in creating lifelong habits of good financial decision-making.
2017
Launched new services for Part-time day students.
Including the opportunity to receive a Student ID Card, attend pub nights, participate in Student Government, vote in elections and receive a Fitness Centre membership.
